the girlfriend: swim me the circus
i failed swimming lesson back at school/ my body betrays and gets drowned/ gasp for air to hear everyone’s laughter/ that is how i learned to dive way further/ a long time passed and i missed the bus/ now i can grow and show perspective to the congregation/ to let them see me dress as dolphin in circus/ if you dare to pay then make a blasting noise/ i’d show you the dance and voice of a night suffers/ for they remember my body just to call me by whistle/ and be insusceptible to the idea of freedom/ you see the disgust in their eyes as i preach/ choosing the ocean is blasphemy for humans’ grace/ the next time you watch me dive in a live show/ make sure you twist the door-knob tight/ something too long to be awaken/ is never bound to rise as circus clowns- one more round

the lover: what you might, if you were here
i walk through the door to make sure the snow has gone. you might guess it’s a reality club’s song playing on my phone. your glimpse comes as the subtle ache before the music is done. or it is no longer december and i know you will never come around.
the news updated me about today’s weather. you might say it’s the simple thing we talk about. a cliche conversation over sunday ice cream between your sneak out. funny how you smell like cigarettes are the one thing i have never talked about.
you might disagree but i have put my maps timeline off since you’ve been gone. you wouldn’t find me in a nearby park your girlfriend always talks about. it’s your wish too so i keep our picture in pretty secret box. and the truth is, no other goodbyes would do this justice.

the boyfriend: sumida park
i’ve seen this is how things always end/ tantrums thrown and regrets met/ you have seen it at a young age/ people leave the love they once had/ no longer fear in monsters at night/ after you see them stand in daylight
my nana used to pet cats with small paws/ told me they were better than human ever made/ so do the goose peeps from lakes we saw/ but nana dies drowned/ i stay alone at the cottage she once draws/ people cry and it left no sounds
november rain i’ve let loose at sumida park/ your ghost has called stars and beyond/ there is no crime without taking blame/ but baby people betray their hearts/ or should i ask, would you sit to watch mine die parched?

accidently wrote a love triangle with words i asked my friends last december. i took this as a game for fun from someone’s feed on instagram but i lost the account.
